The role

The Quantity Surveyor will support commercial, contract management, procurement, and supplier relationship duties for capital and construction expenditure. The role involves implementing sound commercial governance, procurement practices, and contract management.

Typical duties include:

• Providing end-to-end service to Capital Delivery and Asset Management teams
• Managing pre- and post-contract activities related to airport maintenance and refurbishment
• Procurement and contract delivery across projects within specific airport locations and the wider MAG group
• Managing MAG framework contractors
• Supporting contract and supplier relationship management to maximize value
• Implementing contract strategies aligned with organizational goals and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Understanding the market environment for the supply categories
• Building strong stakeholder relationships

What will make you successful in the role?

Ideally, you will have completed or be near completion of a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field, with knowledge of industry standards. 1-2 years of quantity surveying experience is desirable.

You should be an effective communicator with excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and good analytical abilities. The role also requires influencing and managing senior stakeholders effectively.
