Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our main contracting team in Woking. You will manage projects from pre-construction through to final account and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, ensuring successful delivery across multiple sectors.

The role involves supporting two-stage tenders, overseeing procurement and sub-contractor packages, and resolving final accounts or disputes with clients. A BSc QS or HNC is required, with UK work authorisation.

• Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC.

Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a highly respected main contractor based in Woking. The business operates across several sectors including motor retail, public and private education, commercial and leisure valuing typically up to 10mil. Projects are a mix of new build and refurb and are typically administered via JCT forms of contract.

As a result of organic growth, they're now looking to expand the commercial team with a Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects fom pre-construction through to final account. You will be reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tenders
• Oversee the teams procurement / management of sub-contractor packages
• Deal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may arise
• Liaise with the clients teams

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC
• Have experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC
• Must live in a commutable location to Woking
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
