Job summary

Invision Group in East London and Essex is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting social housing refurbishment programmes. You will manage budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts across East London and Essex frameworks.

The role requires strong subcontractor management, excellent negotiation skills and a solid understanding of Decent Homes works. A relevant QS qualification and IT/Excel proficiency are essential, with long-term progression

Qualifications

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within social housing, refurbishment or planned maintenance.
• Strong experience working on Decent Homes programmes.
• Experience across both void and tenanted properties.
• Knowledge of kitchen, bathroom and external refurbishment works.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor management and procurement.
• Experience managing valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
• Good commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong IT and Excel skills.
• A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractual and commercial procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Salary: Up to £70,000 + Package

A well-established refurbishment contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting social housing refurbishment programmes across East London and Essex.
