Job summary

Rullion Ltd is advertising a permanent Quantity Surveyor role based in Lewisham, SE London. You will work with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to maintain strong commercial governance and to maximise value on major projects.

The ideal candidate has proven quantity surveying experience in construction or infrastructure, knowledge of NEC3/4, JCT and FIDIC contracts, and a strong focus on cost control, valuations, and budget management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, engineering, infrastructure or major projects.
• Good working knowledge of contract administration, change management and commercial procedures.
• Experience preparing or supporting CVRs, cost forecasts, cash flow forecasts and commercial reports.
• Experience of NEC3/4, JCT & FIDIC contracts.
• Experience managing variations / compensation events / change control.
• Experience with subcontract procurement and subcontract account management.
• Ability to assess valuations, applications for payment and commercial entitlement.
• Strong understanding of cost control and budget management.
• Ability to identify commercial risks and escalate issues appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, auditable records.
• Good understanding of contractual obligations and commercial processes.
• Ability to work effectively with project, engineering, planning, HSE and commercial teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: £40,000pa to £55,000pa
Benefits Package: Package available
Location: Lewisham, New Cross, SE London
Full Site Based/Hybrid/Remote Working: Fully site based - 5 days per week
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week
