AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on major infrastructure projects. The role covers pre and post-contract activities, NEC contract administration, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across highways, rail, and utilities.

The successful candidate will have a degree in quantity surveying, working towards chartership, and experience managing client relationships within a complex infrastructure environment.

We are looking for a well‑rounded Senior Quantity Surveyor with Pre and Post Contract experience on Infrastructure projects, in any the following sectors-Highways (National or Local Transport), Rail, Energy (Nuclear, Renewables, Carbon Capture), Utilities (Water, Communication, Etc), MOD, Aviation. We do not expect applicants to be experts in all areas of quantity surveying but have a drive to elevate their career and meet some of the prerequisites. If you believe you have the experience of a senior quantity surveyor and want to develop your skills by delivering projects for our clients and adding value through best practise and problem-solving, then a career within our Complex Infrastructure Commercial & Procurement discipline of AtkinsRéalis Complex Projects team could be the place for you.

Your role Have a quantity surveying / commercial degree or equivalent qualification. Have/are working towards a recognised Chartership. Experience in administering the NEC suite of contracts. Experience in commercially managing Infrastructure projects. i.e. within at least one sector. Know the standard methods of measurement - Highways and CESMM. Understand procurement documents required in the preparation of an ITT. Have a good understanding of construction techniques and technology. Are experienced in managing medium‑size projects with little supervision. Experience in the use of the full suite on Microsoft software. Have good written and oral communication skills. Proven record in working with multiple teams and stakeholders. Have a natural curiosity for developing innovative, sustainable and cost‑effective solutions for our clients.

About you Knowledge in compiling the full suite of ITT documents. Some experience in project and technical leadership. Proven record of developing client relationships. An interest in Business and Account Management.
