Job summary

Kenton Black are recruiting a permanent, full time Quantity Surveyor in Dundee, Scotland. You will oversee commercial functions on fitout projects, preparing cost estimates, budgets, interim valuations, and final accounts. This role requires a Degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 3 years’ industry experience, with UK right-to-work confirmed.

Salary £40,000-£60,000 DOE plus a company car package. Projects span retail, banking, and hospitality sectors nationwide, with a supportive team

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with at least 3 years' industry experience.
• Experience in fitout or refurbishment projects is preferred.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to provide references.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for fitout projects.

Job description

Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent, full time Quantity Surveyor position for their client in Dundee. The client is a respected fitout and refurbishment contractor with a busy pipeline of work across the country. Projects may include fitouts within the retail, banking or hospitality sector.

In your new role, you will oversee the commercial functions on fitout project(s) assigned to you. Roles and responsibilities may include preparing cost estimates and budgets, negotiate and appoint subcontractors, measure completed works and prepare interim valuations, contract administration, commercial reporting and final accounts. As a reward, this position pays an annual salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum DOE + car package (vehicle or allowance).

As requirements for this position, you must have achieved a Degree in Quantity Surveying and have a minimum of 3 years industry experience within a similar role, ideally within the fitout / refurbishment sector. You must be able to back previous work experience with positive working references and provide an in date right to work in the UK.
