Job summary

Fawkes and Reece are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. The role covers projects across Education, Commercial, Healthcare, leisure, Heritage and residential sectors, with values up to around £2 million, operating mostly on JCT contracts.

You will manage procurement, pricing and variations, attend site meetings and drive final accounts through delivery, with emphasis on building strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience within Construction Quantity Surveying position with a Main Contractor.
• Good communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Quantity Surveyor degree or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Working from PCSA/2 Stage tender process to delivering the site and final accounts.
• Procurement across all Sub-contracting accounts.
• Pricing, managing change and variations.
• Site meetings.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

As a business, our client operates in London and the Southeast working across Education, Commercial, Healthcare, leisure, Heritage, and residential schemes ranging from small works up to circa £2 Million. Typically, their projects are under JCT form of Contract.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor

• Working from PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts
• Procurement across all sub-contracting accounts
• Pricing, and managing change and variations.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor
