Job summary

Ross-shire Engineering Limited seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of water industry works in a permanent role, based in Cumbernauld with occasional travel to Inverness. You will manage financial and commercial aspects of projects and portfolios within an established Assets team, liaising with delivery teams to ensure value and performance.

The role requires a RICS qualification or equivalent, strong IT skills (Excel), and a full UK driving licence; NEC experience would be

Qualifications

• RICS recognised qualification or equivalent in Surveying, Construction, Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to prepare Bills of Quantities/Schedules of Rates and procurement documents.
• Experience in contract final accounts including valuations and variations.
• Experience in NEC contracts would be beneficial.
• Good IT literacy with competency in Excel and a Full UK Driving Licence.

• Preparing internal reports such as financial reconciliation and anticipated project performance.
• Negotiating final account with Client(s).

What Are We Looking For?

Our Asset Management team is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join us on a permanent basis to aid in the delivery of works to the Water industry, based in Cumbernauld. Your role will involve working with an established team to manage and deliver the financial and commercial aspects of individual projects and larger portfolios of frameworks.

Please note with this position, you will be required to be visit the Inverness office on occasion.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:
