A leading specialist civil engineering contractor is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The business operates across major UK infrastructure schemes, delivering technically complex projects within the rail, geotechnical, and wider civil engineering sectors.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of civil and rail projects across the UK. You’ll work closely with project teams to ensure strong financial performance, accuracy in cost management, and compliance with contract frameworks.

• Manage commercial and contractual elements of projects from tender to final account.
• Work under NEC or JCT forms of contract.
• Support the development and improvement of internal commercial processes.
• Prepare valuations, variations, cost forecasts, and financial reports.
• Assist with estimating duties where required.

About You :

• Background in civil engineering, ideally with exposure to rail or geotechnical projects (beneficial but not essential).
• Experience with NEC or JCT contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and improve processes.

Experience in estimating or cost planning is advantageous.
