Job summary

Amentum in the United Kingdom is seeking a structured development Quantity Surveyor to blend hands-on professional work with formal training. You'll gain exposure to cost management, procurement, contract administration, and NEC contracts while working with experienced professionals.

If you do not yet hold a Quantity Surveying degree, you'll be supported to complete one alongside the role. The path leads to professional accreditation as a Quantity Surveyor, with hybrid and flexible working

Qualifications

• Willingness to study towards a Quantity Surveying degree alongside the role.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Proactive learner with good communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial and quantity surveying activities on live projects.
• Assist with cost management, forecasting, payments and contract administration.
• Help manage contract changes, Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
• Support procurement, tendering and bid activities.
• Maintain commercial records, reports and project documentation.
• Develop knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and processes.
• Work with experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers to grow expertise.
