Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days in office)

The Role:

We're working with a leading Global Fintech who are looking to add to their Quantitative Risk team.

The team is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying quantitative risk models.

This role focuses on model development using Python and contributing to automation, infrastructure migration, and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain quantitative risk models in Python
• Re-engineer existing models and propose new ones (e.g., LGD, PD)
• Automate processes and deploy updates using GitLab pipelines
• Support the transition from on-prem servers to GCP, including tools like Looker & Vertex-AI

Experience:

• SQL and GitLab (incl. deployment pipelines)
• Experience developing risk models in banking or consulting
• Solid understanding of financial risk concepts (e.g., stress-testing, VaR, expected shortfall, LGD, PD)
