Job summary

Point72's Internal Alpha Capture (IAC) team is seeking exceptional ML researchers to develop AI-driven equity trading signals using state-of-the-art ML methods, proprietary data sources, and high-performance computing.

You will collaborate with senior researchers, apply broad ML knowledge to unique datasets, and develop novel signals with high impact. Prior financial industry experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in machine learning, computer science, statistics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills demonstrated in research.
• Experience applying ML methods to large/ noisy data sets.
• Proficiency with ML libraries such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of the research process from ideation to evaluation and application.
• Identify, adapt, and extend models to develop new trading signals.
• Stay up to date on AI/ML advances and recommend new models/tools.
