Point72 is seeking exceptional machine learning researchers to join Internal Alpha Capture (IAC) and develop AI-driven trading signals using research, ML models, proprietary data, and high-performance computing. You will collaborate with senior researchers, manage the research process from ideation to evaluation, and publish novel signals for portfolio performance, with no prior finance requirement.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in machine learning, computer science, statistics, or related fields.
• Knowledge of modern sequence models, graph neural nets, reinforcement learning, LLMs is strongly preferred.
• Experience researching with large, possibly noisy datasets.

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of the research process from ideation to evaluation and application.
• Identify, adapt, and extend models to develop new signals that enhance portfolio returns.
