G-Research in London is seeking Quantitative Data Engineers to shape platforms and tools that drive high-impact research. You will work in Python on large-scale compute and industry-leading infrastructure, building production data pipelines and turning raw data into live signals that support innovation across the firm.

AI is embedded in daily workflows, and you will collaborate with Quant Researchers to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• A strong academic record in a quantitative field.
• Strong software engineering and data skills.
• Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience building production data pipelines with Python.
• Ability to apply probability and statistics to real-world data problems.
• Collaborative, proactive and flexible mindset.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based agents is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Onboard third-party datasets and build research-ready pipelines.
• Collaborate with Quant Researchers to engineer features and signals.
• Leverage LLM-based agents to automate the pipeline from ingestion to signals.
• Develop reusable tools and workflows to scale researchers' work.
