WorldQuant is seeking an exceptionally strong software engineer to join its Technology organization in London. You will build and evolve core systems powering our quant strategies, collaborating with researchers and quants to turn ideas into robust production solutions.

You will work on data pipelines, the data layer, and AI-powered tooling, leveraging Python and C++ on Linux/Unix, with CI/CD and a focus on code quality, reliability, and scalable infrastructure in a finance-focused environment.

Competenze

• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline from a top-tier institution.
• 3 to 8 years of working experience in software engineering.
• Experience programming in Python (preferred) or C++ on Linux/Unix; scripting languages welcome.

Mansioni

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and data layer for quantitative systems.
• Develop and evolve computational frameworks and infrastructure for data, research, portfolio construction and trading.
• Collaborate with Researchers and Quants to turn ideas into robust production solutions; deploy AI-powered tooling in engineering workflows.
