Job summary

GSR Markets seeks a high-caliber candidate to join a fast-paced team at the intersection of trading and technology. You will design, test, and implement strategies across market-making, prop, and OTC, contributing to low-latency Rust systems that run in production.

Success depends on strong quantitative insight, curiosity, and ownership. You will partner with traders and engineers to tackle complex, performance-critical challenges and drive continuous improvement across the platform.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative foundations for pricing and risk.
• Genuine interest in trading systems and market microstructure.
• Experience with programming languages used in trading environments (Python, C++, Rust).
• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Research, build, and refine trading strategies across market-making, prop, and OTC.
• Analyze market microstructure and pricing to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to deploy strategies in live systems.
• Develop analytics and optimisation workflows to support research.
• Monitor live strategy performance and ensure stability of trading systems.
