Job summary

Cranswick Plc is expanding and recruiting a Quality Technologist (QT) for the backshift, Monday to Friday 17:10–01:40. The role emphasizes food safety, quality checks, and GMP compliance, with focus on start-up, metal detection, label verification and precise record keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience within a technical QA or QC based role.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Works to a high degree of accuracy.
• Works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete agreed food safety, quality, due diligence and legal checks, on time in full at quality, meeting or exceeding site and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate record keeping in line with required standards demonstrating attention to detail.
• Complying to site standard GMP requirements, including all areas of the factory, warehouse, workstations, equipment, walkways and locker rooms.
• To ensure a timely escalation to the team supervisor of any situations that fall out of the required site or customer standards and ensuring that any corrective actions are recorded and followed through to conclusion.
• To actively participate in site quality and technical initiatives to ensure that the product produced is on time, in full, at quality.
• Assist the QA team, with customer site visits and other third party audits

As part of our exciting expansion project we are now recruiting for a Quality Technologist (QT) or sometimes referred to as PC for our backshift working Monday - Friday 17:10-01:40. Job requirements of Quality Technologist:

• Complete agreed food safety, quality, due diligence and legal checks, on time in full at quality, meeting or exceeding site and customer requirements. These are to include Start up, temperature, X Ray, metal detection and label verification
• ensure accurate record keeping in line with required standards demonstrating attention to detail
• Complying to site standard GMP requirements, including all areas of the factory, warehouse, workstations, equipment, walkways and locker rooms. Clean as you go to site standards
• To ensure a timely escalation to the team supervisor of any situations that fall out of the required site or customer standards and ensuring that any corrective actions are recorded and followed through to conclusion
• To actively participate in site quality and technical initiatives to ensure that the product produced is on time, in full, at quality
• Assist the QA team, with customer site visits and other third party audits
