Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a specialist valve manufacturer in Wimborne for a Quality Technician (Valve Manufacturing). You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, carrying out incoming, in-process and final inspections, and supporting CMM programming with on-the-job training.

The role offers £28,000 - £33,000 plus progression, training, an Early Finish Friday, a Christmas shutdown and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Inspector
• Reading engineering drawings and GD&T tolerances
• Program and operate CMM equipment
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment

Responsibilities

• Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection of precision-engineered components
• Program and operate CMM equipment for dimensional inspection
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T tolerances
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges and height gauges
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and measurement equipment
• Identify, record and report product non-conformances
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement

Are you a Quality Inspector, looking to join a specialist manufacturer where you'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards across precision-engineered components?
