Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Quality Technician in the RMA Lab in Cookstown for a temporary assignment. The role supports incoming inspections, supplier corrective actions and various PED verifications and audits.

You will contribute to product development and process improvement while maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate has engineering credentials (HNC/HND/Foundation or BTech/A-level) and hands-on experience with gauging, problem solving, and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Ideally candidates will possess or be working towards an HNC/HND/Foundation Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with at least 2 years relevant experience.
  • Candidates with B-Tech or A-level or equivalent in engineering with at least 3 years relevant experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of reading technical drawings would be advantageous.
  • Experience in structured problem solving, using statistical techniques with suppliers and customers.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, oral and presentational.
  • Proven ability to build relationships whilst able to work autonomously.
  • Working knowledge of CMM programming would be beneficial.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
