Job summary

Lumentum Operations LLC is seeking a proactive Quality Technician to join our Quality Assurance team in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• BTEC ONC/OND in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or 3-5 years' QA in manufacturing).
• Calibration experience.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA activities across manufacturing operations.
• Verify product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Support the Quality Engineer with QA activities.
• Conduct routine process audits, ESD audits, and verification activities.
• Assist with CAPA management.
• Complete shop floor inspections and process monitoring.
• Drive and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support customer and internal quality audits.
• Assist with site calibration activities.
• Carry out Goods In and Goods Out inspections.
• Monitor and support change control activities.
• Develop and update QA work instructions and documentation.

• Willingness to work rotating early and late shifts (Monday-Friday).
• Due to the rural location of the site, a full driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.
