Job description

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Clacton

Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience

Contract Details: Full-time, permanent position

Responsibilities:
Are you passionate about ensuring quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment? Join our team as a Quality Technician! Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance. Here's what you'll be doing:

Checking & sampling of incoming raw materials
? Conducting QC analysis of incoming raw materials
? Collating Raw Material Specifications and Certificates of Analysis
️ Sending raw materials for Micro analysis and ensuring testing schedules
? Tracking & trending Micro results and managing retests
Verifying production paperwork before issuing to the factory
? Taking QC samples and analysing in-process products
? Conducting GMP audits in the factory
? Performing internal systems audits
? Recording, tracking, and trending Non-Conformance issues
? Verifying metal detector functionality
?️ Conducting label checks and verifications
? Verifying cleaning chemical concentrations
? Swabbing cleaned items and conducting environmental swabbing
? Reviewing post-production paperwork
? Sampling finished products and conducting QC analysis
? Sending finished products for Micro analysis while ensuring customer requirements
? Checking delivery paperwork and certificates as required
? Assisting the Assistant Quality Manager in the Supplier Approval Process
️ Covering for the AQM during holidays/absences
? Being an active member of the HACCP team
? Ensuring daily compliance with BRC requirements
