A Quality Technician is sought for a site-based role within a plastics manufacturing environment. The position requires regular movement between departments, conducting quality checks and sampling, and liaising with operators and supervisors to resolve issues.
The role involves audits, using hand-held measuring tools, recording findings, and supporting root-cause analysis to ensure products meet specifications across extrusion, butt fusion, fittings and assembly.
Our client is looking for a Quality Technician to join their manufacturing team. This is a highly active, site-based role that will involve regularly moving between manufacturing departments, inspecting products, identifying quality issues and working with teams to resolve them.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet approved specifications and quality standards across a range of manufacturing areas, including Extrusion, Butt Fusion, Fittings and Assembly. A typical day will involve roaming across the manufacturing site, carrying out quality checks, sampling products, checking labels and speaking directly with operators and supervisors.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with quality control and will be comfortable working independently while also building strong relationships with colleagues across the site.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a varied and hands‑on Quality role rather than being desk-based. With the majority of the working day spent out across the manufacturing environment.
