In your new role, you will be responsible in assuring public health by carrying out planned and unplanned water sampling activity at customer properties to achieve the highest standard of water quality. Excellent customer service is essential as you will be responding and helping resolve issues raised, not isolated to sampling activity by a customer or member of the public. Your workday is normally 0700-1500.
You'll also need to exercise judgment and balance on the tools you use for these activities and the risk & impact of activities to our customers, the general public, and road‑traffic users and you will need to ensure compliance with our statutory, regulatory and company standards at all times.
We're seeking our new Quality Technician to be comfortable completing dynamic risk assessments and proactively put in place suitable controls to ensure that work can be conducted safely if needed. To be successful, you'll to have a current UK driving licence as you will be travelling around and ideally you will have Driving experience using commercial vehicles. You'll have experience of working in the outside environment/weather/livestock and have excellent communication skills. You'll also need to be comfortable with some lone working even though you will be in a team. This position is for an offset role that will require weekend work, with two days off during the week. Additionally, there will be a weekly standby requirement. The working hours are from 0700 to 1500 on all days except Friday, which will be from 0700 to 1430.
