Bodycote plc in Coventry seeks a Quality & Technical Manager to act as site quality and technical lead, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance and product safety across operations.
You will develop and maintain the site QMS, drive a zero-defect culture, manage audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement, and provide technical expertise across heat treatment, metallurgy and related processes.

As the Quality & Technical Manager, you will be the site quality and technical lead for our Coventry facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and product safety across our operations.
You will lead the development and maintenance of the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and Bodycote requirements. You will drive a zero-defect culture through effective quality management, risk reduction, customer complaint resolution, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with operational teams, customers, and suppliers, you will provide technical expertise across heat treatment, metallurgy, and specialist processes. You will support inspection and laboratory activities, quality assurance processes, external audits, technical reviews, and the ongoing development of site standards and capabilities.
This is a key leadership role for a quality professional who can influence change, solve complex problems, and support operational excellence within a global engineering organisation.
We are looking for an experienced Quality & Technical professional with strong knowledge of heat treatment, metallurgy, and quality management systems.
You will also bring a proactive approach to problem solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
This role is based in Coventry, with onsite expectations. Some travel may be required.
