Job summary

Bodycote Coventry seeks a Quality & Technical Manager to lead site quality and technical excellence. You will manage the QMS, drive a zero-defect culture, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and Bodycote requirements.

You will provide expertise across heat treatment, metallurgy, and related processes, support audits and inspections, and collaborate with operations, customers, and suppliers to sustain continuous improvement in a global engineering organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Bodycote quality requirements and quality management systems.
• Experience with aerospace quality standards including EN9100 and NADCAP.
• Understanding of automotive quality systems including IATF16949 and CQI-9.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the site Quality Management System (QMS).
• Drive a zero-defect culture through effective quality management, risk reduction, and corrective actions.
• Support inspection and laboratory activities, external audits, and technical reviews.
• Provide technical expertise across heat treatment, metallurgy, and specialist processes.
• Influence change and support operational excellence within a global engineering organisation.
