Job summary

Nestlé UK&I in York is seeking a Quality Systems Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will own the site quality systems, support audits, and drive improvement across the factory with a focus on First Time Right products.

You will lead the quality team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and deploy continuous improvement initiatives to safeguard compliance and product quality at a large FMCG site.

Qualifications

• Educational background with a degree in science, engineering or quality.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / FSSC 22000).
• Strong continuous improvement mindset and stakeholder engagement.
• Data analysis skills with Power BI knowledge advantageous.
• Experience with SAP in factory or quality contexts.

Responsibilities

• Support the quality team to produce safe, compliant products and drive First Time Right outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to plan and implement quality improvements.
• Review manufacturing records for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide expertise on the Nestlé quality system across sites and audits.
• Manage key quality processes and train teams; conduct regular health checks.
