Join our Technical Department as a Quality Systems Manager, based in Pontefract. Reporting to the Head of Technical, this role is crucial for overseeing our Quality Assurance operations and leading the Quality Assurance Administrator. You will be the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including Functional Leads, Peers, Suppliers, and Customers.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the Quality Assurance Administrator and ensure the effective management of our quality systems.
- Collaborate with Functional Leads and Peers across the organisation to uphold and enhance quality standards.
- Engage with suppliers and internal & external customers to ensure compliance with quality requirements and to foster strong relationships.
- Lead initiatives to improve quality systems and processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the Head of Technical and other key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Quality Systems management role within a technical or related field.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry-related quality standards and regulations.
- Ability to strategize, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and measures.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
