Job summary

Vickerstock, in partnership with a leading specialist engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to own the quality management systems in Dundalk. You will ensure high standards across manufacturing and project delivery, embedding a strong quality culture.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will lead audits, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering and operations to maintain compliance across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Quality Systems or Quality Management role.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS and auditing.
  • Experience managing non-conformances and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System across the business.
  • Ensure procedures and documentation meet required standards.

  • Promote a strong quality culture across the organisation.

Quality Systems Manager
County Louth

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading specialist engineering and manufacturing business on the appointment of a Quality Systems Manager based in Dundalk.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to take ownership of quality systems within a growing organisation delivering complex engineering solutions across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the company's quality management systems, ensuring consistently high standards are achieved across manufacturing and project delivery.

Working closely with operational, engineering and project teams, you will help embed a strong quality culture while driving continuous improvement across processes, systems and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System across the business.
  • Ensure quality procedures, processes and documentation are maintained to the required standards.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring actions and non-conformances are effectively managed and closed out.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering and project teams to maintain quality standards throughout project delivery.
  • Monitor quality performance, identify trends and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong quality culture throughout the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams on quality processes, standards and best practice.
Candidate Profile

We are interested in speaking with experienced Quality professionals from engineering, manufacturing, MEP, fabrication or other technical environments.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Systems, Quality Management or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and auditing.
  • Experience managing non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • A strong continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
