Job summary

FBC UK, Fox's Burton's Companies, is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to ensure the site's Quality Management System is effective and compliant. You will safeguard documentation, records, and readiness ahead of external audits.

Based at Livingston, you will formalise standards across the network, lead continuous improvement, manage audits, and drive KPIs. We value collaborative problem-solvers with HACCP and Food Safety qualifications and a minimum of two years of QA experience in food

Qualifications

• HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing Quality Systems at a food manufacturing site.
• Experience producing Private Label products for UK retailers.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent presentation and delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep Site Quality Management System up to date and compliant.
• Formalise site standards based on Group Quality guidelines.
• Cascade processes and procedures across the FBC UK network.
• Oversee sanitation, GMP, HACCP, Pest control and records.
• Manage internal/external monitoring and improvement plans.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and control.
• Lead product quality assessments and drive action plans.
• Analyse KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Support FS&Q culture programs and plant CI.
• Assist external audits and maintain audit readiness.
• Maintain site quality data capture systems.

About the Role

The role of the Quality Systems Manager is to ensure that the site Quality Management system is effective and that all documentation and records are accurate, controlled and accessible. They will be responsible for assuring site capabilities ahead of external audits.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensures Site Quality Management System is up to date and compliant with all Ferrero, FBC UK group and customer standards
• Formalises rules, standards and codes of practice for sites internal use, based on guidelines defined by Group Quality System and other external organizations, including customer requirements
• Responsible for cascading processes, policies and procedures as defined for FBC UK network
• Formalises sanitation, GMP, HACCP and Pest control activities aimed to guarantee appropriate sanitary condition within the working environment and ensures records are in place
• Formalises processes and results of internal and external monitoring, to assure the proper application of related working instructions. (Part of FSQ assurance)
• Responsible for ensuring that all Documentation and records are accurate, up to date and controlled
• Validates product quality assessments, identifies and leads improvement plans
• Analyses assigned KPIs and ensures appropriate action plans are in place and implemented
• Supports FS&Q “culture programs” in each Plant
• Facilitates Continuous Improvement at Plant level
• Supports all external audits at site
• ensures internal audit process is effective and complies with FBC UK standards
• Maintains Site Quality data capture systems

Who we are looking for

• Someone with HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 qualifications
• At least 2 years' experience managing Quality Systems at a food manufacturing site that produces Private Label products for UK retailers.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels
• Problem-solving, strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Presentation and delivery skills
