Omega Resource Group in Gloucestershire is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to own the site’s Quality Management System, manage certification activities, and support audits in a highly regulated engineering environment.

You will work with engineering, production and external bodies to drive continuous improvement, maintain compliance with international standards, and ensure robust QA across the business.

Formación

• Experience in Quality Systems, Product Certification or similar engineering-focused role.
• Engineering qualification or related technical discipline.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor with audit programme management experience.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and QA processes.
• Experience reviewing technical files and conformity documents; knowledge of UL/CSA/FM/MCERTS/Marine or Drinking Water schemes is a plus.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate factory and product certification activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support customers with preparation, coordination and hosting of Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
• Act as the primary contact for notified bodies, external auditors and certification agencies.
• Manage certification assessments, technical queries, observations and non-conformances.
• Lead internal audits, regulatory inspections and compliance reviews.
• Maintain, improve and develop the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support ongoing compliance with international, national and customer-specific standards.
• Review technical documentation to support Declarations of Conformity and regulatory submissions.
• Manage certification documentation, technical files and quality records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, compliance and certification processes.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to secure and maintain approvals and accreditations.
