Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences in Liverpool is seeking a Quality Systems & Compliance Manager to lead the QMS, drive regulatory compliance, and strengthen the Culture of Quality across the site.

You will oversee audits (FDA, ISO, FSSC, EHO), manage change, risk assessments, and a three-person team, ensuring product quality and consumer safety throughout manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA/QMS in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Auditing experience across FDA/ISO/FSSC/EHO/Trading Standards is essential.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities to develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the site Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure audit readiness for FDA, FSSC, ISO, EHO, and Trading Standards.
• Govern change management, risk assessments and internal audits.
• Oversee complaints, product registrations, food defence and food fraud.
• Manage raw material approvals and supplier quality.
• Drive a Culture of Quality across all functions.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of three.
