Job summary

Walker Cole International is seeking a Quality Systems and Compliance Manager to join a well-established healthcare and life sciences organisation in the East Midlands. You will own the Quality Management System, ensuring EU/UK GMP and GDP compliance and audit readiness across the site.

You will lead document control, quality data, KPIs, risk management and audits, while developing a team of three in a full-time, site-based role. Strong QMS knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent with quality focus.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma/medical device).
• Strong understanding of QMS and EU/UK GMP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the Quality Management System and ensure GMP/GDP compliance.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate responses to external audits.
• Drive CAPA, deviations and complaint investigations with timely actions.
• Coordinate risk management and data-driven quality improvements.
• Develop and mentor a team of three; drive continuous improvement.
