Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Site Quality Specialist at Taw Valley to drive the site's quality agenda within existing manufacturing processes. This 18-month FTC role reports to the QEHS Manager and sits at a site undergoing a major capital investment to build a mozzarella facility.

You will lead GAP analyses, ensure compliance with food safety and QEHS systems, and champion continuous improvement using Lean methodologies, shaping the quality culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical specialist or manager role within the FMCG industry.
• HACCP level 3 required; Level 4 preferred.
• Lead Auditor training would be preferred.
• Degree or equivalent qualification within a food-related discipline.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement opportunities through GAP analyses and implement strategic solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Arla Foods’ Food Safety, Quality, and QEHS systems, including audits and certifications.

Site Quality Specialist - Taw Valley (18 months FTC)

Looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced manufacturing company? Our Taw Valley site is currently undergoing transformational change with a £180M investment project to build a brand new state of the art Mozzarella facility, so there has never been a better time to join the team!

Due to an internal secondment we are currently seeking an experienced and talented individual to join our Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety (QEHS) team as a key member. This is a Monday-Friday, day based role.

How will you make an impact

As a Quality Specialist, you will report directly to the QEHS Manager and play a vital role in driving the site's quality agenda, within our existing manufacturing processes.
