Reporting to Gary Norton, you will be a key point of contact for operational performance, safety, quality and site continuity.

How You Will Make An Impact

In this role, you will oversee site operations and help ensure that our manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently and in line with our quality standards. You will take accountability for site performance, coordinate teams across the operation and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime and support continuous improvement.

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring safety protocols are followed, supporting regular safety audits and responding promptly to any concerns.
  • Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities to help achieve site targets while maintaining quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate site personnel, supporting a positive working environment and ensuring teams are aligned on priorities throughout the shift.

  • Monitor site performance, inventory levels, quality checks and operational issues, preparing updates and escalating actionable solutions where needed.
What Will Make You Successful

We are looking for someone with experience in a factory or manufacturing environment, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience. You will be confident working in an operational setting, able to stay calm under pressure and comfortable making decisions that support safety, quality and site performance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organised, proactive and confident collaborating with different teams across the site. Strong communication skills are important, along with the ability to take ownership, solve problems and keep people focused on shared priorities. You should also be able to communicate in English in line with Arla’s level requirements.

What do we offer?

You will join a collaborative, fast-paced and supportive site environment where your contribution will make a real difference to our daily operations. At Arla, we are committed to professional development and promoting from within, and our positive culture is built around working together, sharing knowledge and helping each other succeed. You will also be part of a market leader that produces nutritious household‑favourite brands in a way that aims to make things better for our customers, the farmers who own us, and the whole world.
