Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance professional for our Chirk site in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on managing the Quality Management system and ensuring adherence to MDLZ global quality policies while supporting audits and continuous improvement within a food-based FMCG environment.

You will lead sanitation and HACCP programs, coordinate internal audits, and be the subject matter expert for pest control and food safety assessments across product changes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a food-based FMCG environment.
• Solution-focused approach to delivering a risk-based Food Safety Program.
• Ability to influence Food Safety strategy and provide practical guidance to site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the site Quality Management system and support Chirk’s compliance to MDLZ Global Quality Policies.
• Be a key participant in site audits (e.g., FSSC 22000, MDLZ eQCMS, Halal, Kosher, Soil Association).
• Manage an effective site Sanitation Program involving site and contractor teams.
• Develop and manage the HACCP system in line with MDLZ policies.
• Coordinate the Internal Audit Program.
• Act as Pest Control subject matter expert for the site.
• Ensure Food Safety assessments for product, packaging and CAPEX changes.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive Food Safety agenda.
• Contribute to the site’s Food Safety Cultural development.
