Job summary

Mondelēz International seeks a site Food Safety & Quality professional in Chirk, Wales to lead the Quality Management system and support MDLZ Global Quality Policies. You will drive HACCP and sanitation programs, coordinate internal audits, and act as the pest control SME while ensuring safety assessments for changes across products and packaging.

• Experience working in a food-based FMCG environment.
• Solution focused approach to delivering a risk-based Food Safety Program.
• Ability to influence Food Safety strategy providing operational observations and practical advice to site teams.
• Effective collaborator able to work across functions, geographies and with internal and external partners.
• Culture of restless curiosity and continuous improvement mentality.
• Ability to develop an internal network supporting communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the site Quality Management system and support Chirk’s compliance to MDLZ Global Quality Policies.
• Participate in site audits (e.g., FSSC 22000, MDLZ eQCMS, Halal, Kosher, Soil Association).
• Manage an effective site Sanitation Program involving site and contractor teams.
• Manage and develop the HACCP system in line with MDLZ policies.
• Coordinate the Internal Audit Program.
• Serve as Pest Control subject matter expert for the site.
• Ensure Food Safety assessments for product, packaging and CAPEX changes are completed.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive the Food Safety agenda.
• Contribute to the site’s Food Safety cultural development.

• Key participant in site audits – for example FSSC 22000, MDLZ eQCMS, Halal, Kosher, Soil Association
• Manage an effective site Sanitation Program involving site and contractor teams
• Manage and develop the HACCP system, complying to MDLZ policies
• Co-ordinate the Internal Audit Program
• Be the Pest Control subject matter expert for site
• Ensure Food Safety assessments are completed for any product, packaging and CAPEX change projects
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive the Food Safety agenda
• Contribute to the site’s Food Safety Cultural development
