Job summary

Trafford Council is seeking a Cook 2 for Springfield Primary on a permanent, term-time contract. The role is part-time, 27.5 hours per week, with duties including delivering high-quality meals and deputising for Cook 3 during absences.

You should have an NVQ level 2 in Hospitality and Catering (or be working towards it), proven catering experience, and strong people and organizational skills. You will travel to different Trafford schools as required.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ level 2 in Hospitality and Catering or willing to work towards it.
• Proven experience in a quality catering environment.
• Excellent people skills with ability to develop a team.
• Passion about food and customer service.
• Superb culinary skills and high standards.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to different schools in Trafford.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality food across schools and deputise for Cook 3 during absences.
