Aspens Services is seeking a Cook in one of our schools in Sutton Coldfield. You will prepare meals that meet our menus, focusing on quality, nutrition and student enjoyment. The role fits around school hours and term-time schedules, offering a balanced work-life pattern.

We value passion for great food, reliability, and the ability to work with fresh ingredients. A Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate is preferred and DBS checks will be completed as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of education catering and experience with fresh ingredients.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Creative Menu Execution by following provided menus.
• Safety Champion: adhere to food hygiene and allergen standards.
• Hospitality Production for clients and events.
• Build strong relationships with schools and students.
• Provide friendly customer service.
