Rubicon Recruitment Agency in Bournemouth seeks a Quality & Product Standards Manager to own QA/QC strategy and supplier compliance. You will lead cross-category audit programmes, including SEDEX/SMETA, and support safety recalls in close collaboration with Trading Standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive QA/QC or product compliance experience in retail, sourcing, or manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing supplier compliance and ethical audit programmes.
• Strong analytical approach with ability to interpret data and assess risk.
• Clear, confident communicator translating technical detail into practical guidance.
• Experience developing or maintaining quality systems and reporting frameworks.
• Willingness to learn is valued as highly as existing product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the QAQC strategy and supplier compliance programmes across product categories.
• Manage supplier audit programmes, including SEDEX/SMETA audits.
• Support product safety and recall processes, working with Trading Standards.
• Analyse quality, complaint and audit data to identify trends and prioritise risk.
• Build relationships with suppliers, test labs and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and reporting frameworks.
