Job summary

A Class Care Limited in Suffolk is recruiting a Quality Officer to support field-based work with clients and care staff in line with CQC standards.

You will supervise staff, carry out probation reviews and spot checks, and complete administrative duties such as writing medication records and compiling reports; travel is involved and you will join the out-of-hours rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care sector is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Able to drive and hold a full clean UK driving license due to travelling.

Job Title: Quality Officer

Location: 70% field based, 30% office based - Suffolk

Salary: £27,300 per annum

Due to growth we have an exciting opportunity for a quality officer to join our established team in Suffolk. A quality officer will support via field based working to our clients and care workers in line with CQC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing supervision and support to our care staff.
• Completing probation reviews and supervisions for our care staff.
• Completing announced and unannounced spot checks.
• To carry out administrative duties related to the role including writing medication records, creating relevant reports.
• Coordinate care staff and offer support
• Part of the out of hours team on a roter basis

Our Ideal Candidate

• Must have previous experience within the Care sector.
• Must be good at problem solving and like a challenge.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Has a great client-focused passion.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast pace environment.

Our Requirements

• Able to drive, and holds a full clean UK Driving License due to the travelling involved. (use of company pool car available for work related tasks)
• Experience working with the Microsoft Packages.
• Have a good understanding of CQC standards
