Job summary

FM Conway Ltd in Gravesend, Kent, is seeking a Materials Technician to join the Aggregate and Asphalt team. You will perform routine quality control testing in the lab and in the field, ensure tests are carried out to correct frequencies and standards, and help generate accurate reports for clients.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in aggregate and asphalt testing, strong Word/Excel skills, good written and verbal communication, a full UK driving license, and the ability to work well in

Qualifications

• Solid experience in aggregate and asphalt testing.
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing and inspections, in the laboratory and the field.
• Ensure testing is carried out at correct frequencies and standards, timely.
• Maintain reports with accurate observations for internal and external clients.
• Comply with UKAS and ISO 9001 processes and maintain compliance.
• Record all test results and notes accurately and keep records up to date.
• Report incidences in a timely manner.
