Job summary

Safran is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to lead and continuously improve the QMS across design, manufacturing, repair and support. You will maintain regulatory approvals and manage audit programmes, acting as the main liaison with customers, certification bodies and authorities.

You will oversee EASA Form 1 approvals, train and deploy quality auditors, and drive cross-functional quality improvements while ensuring airworthiness and compliance throughout the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Aerospace industry experience within Quality, Compliance, Airworthiness, or Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, EASA Part 21G, Part 21J, Part 145.
  • Lead Auditor qualification and audit management experience.
  • Experience managing Quality Management Systems and regulatory approvals.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to travel to Safran and third-party locations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business-wide quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
  • Train, assess, and approve personnel operating within regulated quality processes.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to lead and continuously improve our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer, aerospace, military, and regulatory requirements. This is a highly influential role responsible for maintaining key certifications and approvals, managing audit programmes, driving process improvements, and acting as the primary interface with regulatory and certification authorities.
