Job summary

The Recruitment Fix Ltd is supporting a well established Nelson-based manufacturer seeking a Quality Manager to lead inspection and compliance against AS9100 and the company Quality Manual. You will oversee first-off, patrol and final inspections, develop CMM programs, and provide FAIRs and PPAPs to meet customer requirements.

Key duties include NCR handling, quality administration, ISO/AS9100 audits, calibration management, and driving continuous improvement with the management team.

Qualifications

• 5 years of engineering experience
• Ability to use manual inspection techniques
• Full understanding of technical drawings
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Schedule inspections and approve components at first-off, patrol, and final view
• Create CMM programmes to meet specs
• Prepare FAIRs and PPAPs for customer requirements
• Manage NCRs and quality administration and paperwork with suppliers/customers
• Support ISO/AS9100 and customer audits and maintenance of quality systems
• Drive continuous improvement with the management team
