Job summary

MPG Europe is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the development and delivery of our quality strategy and KPIs across MPG and MPG Europe. You will manage the Quality Management System (QMS), inspections, quality engineering, and supplier quality deliverables to ensure products meet the highest standards.

Initial focus includes supporting AS9100 certification compliance and audits, and ongoing development of the Quality team to sustain our precision manufacturing capabilities in defence,

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor for ISO 9001.
• Proven Quality Manager or senior quality role within manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Audits and certification bodies management.
• Developing and implementing Quality Plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and delivery of the quality strategy and KPIs.
• Manage the QMS and inspection, quality engineering, supplier quality deliverables across the business.
• Support AS9100 certification compliance and audits.
• Develop and grow the Quality team.

The Opportunity

Without quality, we have no business. If our products aren’t consistently produced to the highest standards, then our ability to protect and connect around the world and beyond, fails. Due to a recent promotion and as we continue our growth, we are now recruiting for a QUALITY MANAGER to oversee the development, and delivery of our MPG and MPG Europe quality strategy and KPIs, as well as managing our QMS and supporting all inspection, quality engineering, supplier quality, and quality deliverables across our business.

As well as delivering the above, your initial goals will be to support the delivery of our AS9100 certification compliance and certification audit and also support the continuing development of our Quality team.

What You’ll Bring

• A ‘Level equivalent qualification level.
• Certified Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 or equivalent
• Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality role within manufacturing or engineering to complete responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Managing internal and external audits and certification bodies.
• Implementing and improving quality processes.
• Non-conformance management, root cause analysis and corrective action Developing and implementing Quality Plans
• Implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• People management skills to lead, motivate and develop reports.
