This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivering low-carbon electricity to around 6 million homes, contributing to a sustainable energy future for the UK. As our Quality Manager, you will be at the heart of our Project Quality team, providing functional leadership and ensuring our Quality Management System (QMS) meets statutory and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest levels of compliance and drive continuous improvements across the project.

What's in it for you?

  • Lead the establishment and implementation of a robust Quality system.
  • Work closely with our transformation, IT, and project teams to digitise and optimise systems and processes.
  • Drive performance improvements and support a LEAN system for project productivity.
  • Be a key player in a high-impact, long-term project that will shape the UK's energy landscape.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders including government bodies, financial institutions, regulators, and local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Quality plans, procedures, and templates.
  • Oversee compliance across delivery teams and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Support quality planning and review deliverables with the supply chain.
  • Lead investigations and management actions to drive performance improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, nuclear project requirements, and other industry standards.
  • Establish and execute a risk-based audit schedule.
  • Lead management reviews and improvement initiatives.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • A BSc in engineering or science.
  • Extensive experience in quality management systems, preferably in large, complex projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior management, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

At CWA, we value diversity and inclusivity, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment where new ideas are welcomed. Join us and contribute to the successful delivery of Sizewell C, making a real difference in the energy sector.
