Our Quality Manager is located in Lancaster PA.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists in the implementation, operation, and administration of the quality system.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions)

• Performs QAE functions in maintaining the ISO-9001 and IATF16949 quality systems. Supervises Quality Technicians and provides training of new and existing employees in quality tools and concepts.
• Coordinates PPAP activities per Customer requirements.
• Active participant in process improvements and continuous improvement teams.
• Administers the cause and corrective action process for customer complaints and returned material.
• Facilitates internal audits.
• Participates in developing and maintaining key supplier partnerships.
• Monitors customer quality scorecards.
• Administers the deficiency report/cause and corrective action system for incoming material, consulting with the supplier to determine corrective action.
• Maintains the gage calibration system and performs all in-house gage calibrations as well as coordinates all outside calibration services.
• Maintains all incoming inspection records and supplier files.
• Applies basic principles of statistical analysis in the course of regular job responsibilities.
• Maintains proper storage and retrieval of all quality records and oversees our quality system documentation control system.

EDUCATION

• A 4-year college degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years of general and technical/professional experience.
