Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is looking for a Quality Lead / Senior Quality Engineer in Poole to own and continually improve the AS9100 quality system. This hands-on role combines quality strategy with practical inspection, working closely with production, customers and suppliers to maintain high standards.

Ideal candidates will have extensive AS9100/ISO 9001 knowledge, experience in precision manufacturing (aerospace/defence/nuclear preferred), and proven capability to lead a quality function while

Qualifications

• Extensive AS9100 and ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Experience in precision engineering/manufacturing.
• Leadership or team management experience.
• Able to read engineering drawings and inspect components.

Responsibilities

• Own and continually improve the Quality Management System to AS9100/ISO 9001.
• Plan and conduct internal, customer and supplier audits.
• Lead non-conformances, concessions and production permits.
• Perform 8D problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Lead the quality inspection team, including CMM measurements.
• Provide quality metrics and support production planning.
