Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in East Ayrshire is seeking a Quality Lead to take ownership of day-to-day Quality Operations across production, supply and NPD. This role is ideal for someone currently at Quality Supervisor, Coordinator, or Senior Quality Technician level looking to step up into their first leadership position.

You will own End of Line and NPD QA checks, drive CAPA through to closure, and manage quality issues across materials and finished product while collaborating with NPD,

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing supplier quality performance and building strong supplier relationships.
• Track record investigating quality incidents and driving CAPA through to closure.
• Experience working cross-functionally with NPD, Engineering, Production, Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, capable of influencing at all levels.
• Equally comfortable on the shop floor and presenting to senior management.
• Confident with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day quality operations across production, supply and NPD.
• Own End of Line and NPD QA checks, from monitoring through to action.
• Manage quality issues across raw materials, dry goods, finished product and customer concerns, from identification through to corrective and preventive action.
• Set and maintain quality standards for raw materials, dry goods and finished product, and train operators and Team Leaders.
• Provide cover for the Quality and Process Capability Team Leader and wider QA team.

Our client is a well established manufacturer with multiple sites across Scotland, producing branded goods that are shipped to over 100 countries worldwide.

They're looking for a Quality Lead to take ownership of day to day Quality Operations. • Setting and maintaining quality standards for raw materials, dry goods and finished product, and making sure operators and Team Leaders are trained and competent
• Providing cover for the Quality and Process Capability Team Leader and wider QA team
