Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform First-Off, In-Process and Last-Off inspections, ensuring components meet drawings and tolerances, and maintain precise inspection records.

The role requires a keen eye for detail, good communication with production and engineering teams, and the ability to contribute to corrective actions to uphold quality standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing/production.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out First-Off inspections to ensure components meet specifications.
• Perform In-Process inspections to maintain quality during production.
• Complete Last-Off inspections at end of production runs.
• Inspect components against drawings, specifications and tolerances.
• Use measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
• Identify, report and help manage non-conforming products.
• Raise quality concerns and communicate findings with teams.
• Support investigations and corrective actions where required.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained.
