Role:

Quality Inspector (CMM Programming)

Salary:

£36,000-£40,000

Hours:

7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday. 7:30am-1:30pm Friday.

Location:

Commutable from Camberley, Yateley, Reading, Basingstoke, Woking, Aldershot, Guildford and surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer to join a growing Aerospace Manufacturing organisation near Camberley. You will benefit from joining a small but knowledgeable team working in a fast-paced environment. As part of a small team of Quality Inspectors, the CMM Programmer will help to develop and lead the team, sharing knowledge with junior members and elevating their skills. This role offers opportunities for meaningful impact, recognition, and potential progression into supervisory or management positions. The environment is precision-focused, where small improvements significantly impact business success. If you have experience in Quality Inspection and CMM programming with PC-DMIS, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and create high-standard CMM programs.
  2. Conduct and complete FAIRs.
  3. Perform manual inspection of less complex parts.
  4. Support production with inspection activities, utilizing manual and CMM inspection techniques to ensure good throughput.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Quality Inspection, ideally within an Aerospace environment.
  • Experience in CMM Programming using PC-DMIS.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with FAIRs is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Friendly and adaptable, with good teamwork skills.
